R/C cars are probably the most popular items among R/C modelers since they are suitable for most hobbyists, from beginner to performance-minded expert. Comparing to control an R/C airplane that flies all over the sky, it is much simpler to control a R/C car that performs all its maneuvers on the ground, and for obvious reasons, it's much easier to control something on the ground than it is on the air. And when something is easier to control, the fun doubles up!
Depending on your needs or skill levels, a hobby shop would normally offer a wide range of selection for your choosing, from a 1/10th scale electric powered car to a nitro powered monster truck. If simplicity and easy control is what you're aiming for, then electric powered cars are just for you and should be the best choice for you to start with. If you're an advanced modeler, crazy about the speed, you might consider a 1/10th true-scale on-road nitro powered touring car, it will definitely fulfill your expectation. If you are serious with breath taking off-road racing and want your car to be competent on the pavement during a big jump; then trucks and buggies are probably the right choice for you. But if you want to feel the freedom to tackle even the roughest terrain without any emphasis on speed, you can surely not afford to miss "The Monster"! - Features 4WD, high CG and oversized wheels/tires.
After you have fully assessed your aims, the thorough consideration of the location, determine your driving style, and the selection of the appropriate R/C, we will guarantee you that the running/racing of a R/C car is a very fun and rewarding experience.

Thunder Tiger provide a complete array of model R/C cars, which varies from gas-powered (nitro-powered) cars to electric-powered cars. Various styles and scales can be found in our product line. The diagram below details the most common parts to be found on a model R/C car. (Features differ from the type of the car)

Caster angle describes the angle of kingpin relating to vertical plane of ground when looking at the side of the car. Basically, the more caster angle increases the amount of steering exiting corners, the less caster angle tends toward over In other words, it affects how quickly your racer turns. But the more stable traction in line while driving in fast, bumpy condition. Less caster adjustment gets opposite result.

Camber settings will change the amount of area on your tires that make contact with the track surface. This can produce a drastic change in the amount of traction your tires will provide. In general, the more contact the tire has with the track, the greater the traction will be.

Toe describes the variation from parallel of the tires inward or outward when viewed from directly above. When the tires appear to be steering slightly toward each other, it's toe-in. When they appear to be steering slightly apart, it's toe-out. Toe-in may increase the steering, stability of traction and handling during acceleration. But the extra steering may cause slight difficulty to enter corners. Toe-in angle can be adjusted by adjusting the turnbuckles.
