The F-8F is considered the raw brute in the “Cat” family but its simple and clean lines have always delivered outstanding flight performances. The kit comes with a pre-painted fiberglass fuselage and cowl, while wings and tail surfaces are made out of quality lite ply & balsa and covered with matching dark navy blue covering.
All required hardware such as heavy duty retracts; vacuum-formed canopy, operating flaps, tail gear assembly and pilot are included in the kit.
With smooth tracking at both low- and high-speed, the F-8F Bearcat flies very scale-like and can comfortably be handled as a first low-wing 1/6 scale warbird.
